:: Total Wellsite Geological Supervision

 
MOSK Geosciences Limited provides experienced Wellsite geology consultants both national and expatriates to carry out Wellsite geological functions. 

The scopes of work include but not limited to the followings:

• Provide cores and cuttings description

• Provide well correlation and lithological interpretation.

• Monitor directional/ horizontal well path in conjunction with geosteering and directional drilling engineers.

• Ensure geological data integration at the wellsite and digital data transmission from rigs to the clients’ base office.

• Provide core points and well section TD recommendation.

• Provide Coring, Mud Logging, LWD, MWD, and Wire Line operations supervision.

• Provide Mud Logging, LWD, MWD and Wire Line data quality control.

• Provide daily reports to clients’ Representative/Operations Office.

• Provide geological supports or recommendation to the Drilling Supervisor and Operation Team in a timely manner.

• Provide inputs for Final/Completion Well Report.

Also the following shall be offered on client’s demand:-

• Provide training to clients' Geoscientist in regard to well site geological operations.

• Participate in the Pre-Spud meeting conducted by client.

• Provide complete Wellsite Software package to generate composite well log, strip log, well path and correlation panel.

• Provide conventional and side-wall coring reports and description in timely manner.

• Provide pressures and samples reports during Modular Dynamic Tester (MDT) operations.

• Provide wireline logging chronology reports during logging operations.

• Provide daily geological and current position reports throughout the drilling operations.

• Ensured all the Mudlogging, LWD, MWD and Wire Line data are verified and sent to clients’ Operation Office in a timely manner.

• Composite Well Log.

• Strip Log as required.

Wellsite Geo-Photography

MGL provides high resolution images of core samples, drill cuttings from intervals of interest, paleontological samples (using paleontological microscope), and sidewall core samples. We also keep track of all geo-related operations digitally by picking all necessary scenes in picture thereby offering feedback in near real-time to the pleasure and satisfaction of our clients at base.

Biostratigraphic Services: 

 As a result of our determination to the provision of total and quality Wellsite geological services, and in keeping with the Federal Government's directive that Nigerians should participate fully in the Oil Industry, MOSK Geosciences Limited in partnership with CRYSTAL AGE Limited has initiated a Wellsite Geological/ Biostratigraphic Analysis in its operations.

We offer real-time wellsite integrated biostratigraphic services with personnel who have experience in biostratigraphic work in wells located in the shelf, deep water, Benin, Anambra and the Chad basins.  MGL can boast of expertise in calcareous nannofossils, forminifera, diatoms, ostracods, palynomorph and palynofacies.

We can also undertake biostratigraphic studies on single wells as well as multiple wells for correlation of complex wells, and regional field studies.  The results of these analyses are stored or graphically presented using the Wellsight software package or in any format the client may request.

Sedimentology:

MGL experienced earth scientists in conjunction with specialists from the Academia provide high quality services in lithlogic description, grain size analysis, calcimetry, heavy metal analysis, petrography, X-ray diffraction analysis and SEM.  We also provide detailed core description in-house or at the wellsite.

Environmental Management:

MOSK Geosciences Limited in conjunction with highly qualified and experienced specialists as well as foreign technical partners is researching on providing consultancy services in environmental management.  We hope to conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) including the assessment of community sensitivities prior to the execution of major oil related projects.  We will also carry out Environmental Monitoring and Auditing; Remote sensing and satellite imaging of oil mining leases to determine the impact of oil prospecting activities on the environment.
